Here is an interesting article published by The Seattle Times. Written by Kim Barker of the Chicogo Tribune, the article makes reference to Clay’s unit (3rd Squadron, 71st Cavalry Regiment of the 10th Mountain Division) and describes the conditions in southern Afghanistan.
Mentioned in the article is a medic killed on June 28th who carried a picture of his wife and newborn son with him wherever he went….she lives across the street from me.
