The Continuing Adventures of Lucy and Desi
Thank you for all of the well-wishes on our soon-to-be new adventure. I still can’t believe that the stars aligned and the Army is sending us to a place that tickles our fancy. In the words of Liz Lemon, “I want to go to there.” The furry members of our family, Lucy and Desi, are quite thrilled as well. They’re champion adapters – Virginia will be their fourth state they’ve called home. Lucy and Desi been around since the summer of 2005 and with both of their origin stories (a’la Wolverine) beginning in northern New York, the southwest Oklahoma heat doesn’t exactly agree with them. And to be honest, Desi has become quite the male diva so we’re hoping the cooler climate tempers his inner-Ru Paul. We can only dream.
I wouldn’t mess with Desi. He’ll cut you. Hard.

Not gonna lie – as a blog stalker, I’m looking a little more forward to DC adventures than Tulsa adventures. Of course I’d follow you anywhere… buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut.
