One Last (We Hope!) Snow Day

For an area that receives on average about 15 inches of snowfall per year, this winter has certainly given the capital region a run for it’s money. Our little suburb has seen almost 60 inches of snow, which seems downright paltry when compared to other parts of the country, but has caused quite the ruckus around here. On Sunday night another storm rolled into town, bringing 8 inches of the fluffy white stuff. Quite the difference from the 65 degree temperatures experienced the day before!

To say that we’re anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring is an understatement.

Although having Clay home an extra day was worth one last storm.

To be honest, I am a little apprehensive about the warmer temperatures solely because I am just a tad self-conscious  about the extra 10 pounds I am carrying. They’re quite stubborn and will likely stick around until I stop nursing, which I don’t plan on doing anytime soon. Obviously, it is time to up my (non-existent) fitness regime. These thighs aren’t going to tone themselves. Especially with the amount of chocolate I’ve been eating.
